Insuperable Achievement

Eleventh-grader Amir Mubarak did something not all of us would usually do. During our winter vacations, Amir did an insuperable achievement. He finished his whole math book. The eleventh grade class is currently in Problem Set 73, and Amir did all the Problem Sets; up to Problem Set 125. I talked with him for a while and I was astonished when I heard what he said. "It's the smartest thing I've ever done. Now, I don't have to do any math homework for the rest of the year. Also, this allows me to have some more free time!" Do you also think that what Amir did is amazing? Would you like to do this yourself? It would be awesome right?

  1. That's so awsome! I think that Amir did an exquisite achievement because he got all that math homework off his back.

  2. That is so cool, I would like to do it, but I do not have time, because I have too much math homework hahaha xD, but I think I will do it at least once, and I will be free for a while. Avocado...

  3. It is pretty admirable. To sacrifice your break to do math homework? I would never be able to do that. Amir, you must have saved a lot of time, and you'll be the one laughing while we all do our homework!

  4. Amir might do that with much patient. And I think I would like to do this myself, but I am afraid that I would forget everything at the end of the year.

  6. At fist thought I would say of course, but when I think about it I would say probably not. Why? Because I would forget how to do somethings, and this will not help with my tests. Problem sets are like practice sheets for the tests. But I have to say, your awesome Amir. I could never set my mind to do the whole math book in my vacations.

  7. I agree it's one of the smartest things you can do. To get all that homework off your back and all the extra free time. I would do the same thing if I wasn't so lazy.

  8. What Amir did is absolutely smart. I would love to do that also, so that I would also have more free time. I don't know how he could have done this, but I would love to do it also.

  9. This is totally cool, but I don't know if I could do it. I don't have a lot of patience, and I love to have free time to do whatever I want. Doing this would require sacrificing my free time. Something I am not sure is worth it.

  10. What a great idea!! I might try it now... And it doesn't matter the test, because when you are pretty sure what you are doing, you wouldn't forget. When you forget that means you didn't studied well enough.

  11. I most say that what Amir did was outstanding! Just the willpower needed to sit down and do MATH during your winter vacation is outrageously hard to gather. However such a sacrifice is totally worth its pay! Thumbs up man!!

  12. Thanks for all of your comments but I just have to respond to some comments to clarify some misconceptions. First, Working on my math, (2 sets per day) took me no more than two hours. I usually woke up in the morning and just started my math. I never got up nor did I eat breakfast until I had finished both sets. Ultimately, towards the end of the book my pace increased from 1 hour per set to 30 minutes per set! And no, I don't forget how to do procedures during tests because all those problems I solved during vacation were permanently embedded into my mind :)

  13. Solving all the problems during the vacation was amazing; he can rest all of his math time throughout the year. However if I were him I would never work during the vacations because vacations are for us to rest!!!!!!
