How Is Your Day?

This is a brief summary of an ordinary high school boy in Korea. It shows how tough his life is. I thought it was very smart how he just summarized his day. I think it would be very difficult for anybody to outline their day into 12 seconds, because there are a lot of details that you would want to include to it. I would like to summarize it as waking up, having breakfast, studying at the school, eating lunch, doing homework, and going to bed. How would you break your 24 hours into 12 seconds? What elements would you like to include? Why are those elements one of main parts of your day?

  1. That is a really good summary of a day in a persons life.If I were to do a video like this one I think I would see the twelve things I do most commonly and those things I would make them into a video. This was pretty funny but if you pause every second you can see details in the life of this person, which is cool.

  2. It would be funny to summarize my day in 12 seconds. If I had to summarize my day in 12 seconds and make it into a video, I would include, waking up, taking a shower, people screaming at me to hurry up, breakfast, going to school, break, going home, lunch, homework, facebook, homework, dinner, praying, reading and bed. I would include this things because they are the factors that will determine how I see my day in the night.

  3. Well its actually simple; since about 9 hours of my daily 24 hour routine is burned away only by sleep then that means that question really is, "how would you break your 15 hour-daily routine?" Well, first comes waking up, then school, then homework, then the mosque, and then back to sleep. And the process goes on and on! I would definitely want to include more soccer into my daily routine... Homework is killing me!

  4. Agree Amir, Homework is very stressful and time consuming. But, there is a possible solution to all your problems. I for example and let me say that you also do math during the weekend. By this I mean that we both finish math weekly homework during two or three days. Therefore during the week I can distibute my time efficiently. I Wake up at five, go to school from 7:00 A.M. to 2:30 P.M. and then go to soccer from 3:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M. I get home and do homework for two hours. Then After I have showered I go to bed like at ten! This is on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays! On Thursdays I leave school at 3:30 P.M. and get home and do homework! This rutine has given me a perfect synchronization. :D

  5. I so agree with this video!!! Even though I am not in Korea I know it's like that because my friends always tell me that he is always tired after the school. I'm happy that we don't have that much homework than them.

  10. The first time I saw this I laughed and Laughed. It reminded me of my day, running back and forth, doing homework, eating, and other things. Sometimes I feel like yelling all the time too. This guy showed me my day can be more stress-relieving if i found a way to let it out.

  14. I agree that this is a very clear example of what a "normal" day is like. This is all waht I do every day but I actully wake up in time to get to school.

  15. I think it is cool how he is screaming through pretty much the whole video. It must have been fun making this film. He wakes up, realizes he is late, screams and then the day is over.

  16. I agree that we sound so robotic... But isn't it true that our days are always fun but boring? It repeats its routines EVERYDAY!! I wonder what would happen if our routines didn't repeat... That would be crazier... You suddenly wake up at midnight and go to school and see nobody there, and you return to home and the next day, you just don't come to school and don't do your homework and ignore your parents...
You will get more trouble as your routines change only thing you will gain is TROUBLE.

  18. I think my days are boring. I laugh a lot but actually I can't really say that my life is FUN. I think the school is important but it's boring. Maybe not everybody agrees with it, but to me, it's boring. But it's fun to meet friends than just wasting my time watching TV or playing computer for all day long.

  19. Well, since everybody has different perspective towards how they face their lives. One may say it is boring, and other may say it is fun. I'd agree to you, JiEun, but I think it just depends on how you think about it. Everything changes when you change your thought. Try to make your life "fun".

  20. At first I just watched the video over and over again, cracking up every time at the pure beginning when he says, "Hul" But then Mr. AB pointed out to me that it seems as though the guy is laughing all throughout the video. And now I see he's right. So I admit that he's trying to show how stressful schoolwork is, and I agree, but he's smiling all the time, so he really doesn't seem stressed.
