What Colors do You See?

Recently people have been arguing about what color this dress is. I think this dress is gold/brownish and white/light blue. Some people think it is black, lightblue, blue, gold, brown, or beigh. What color do you think this dress has? I think many people in the school are colorblind, or maybe I am the one who is colorblind. Sebastian Lou was the one to show me this. Comment what you think the colors are.

  1. Okay first of all, this whole thing is Sebastian Kong's fault. He was the one who started this color dispute in the first place. Second, I see white and gold and my simple theory is that the dress was just taken in dim lighting. It supposedly has to do with something in the retina of the eye, but that's not the point. Everyone should just accept the fact that many people see one thing and other see another thing. People saying, "I don't understand how you see gold/black and white/blue" should just stop. It's is like saying, "I don't understand how you were born in January?". This is something we can't control.

  2. Guys, listen up, we should stop worrying about the color of a dress (WHICH BY THE WAY IS BLUE AND BLACK 100%) and we should focus on more important things, like cats playing pianos.

  3. I'm really sick and tire to see this dress in any sites that I go. Seeing it few times called my attention and it seemed cool, but now it doesn't seem to be so interesting to constantly appear everywhere with people asking "what color do you see?" Yeah, it is really interesting how people see it in different colors, but does it really matter?

  4. The real colors are:
    Blue+White=Bluhite
    Black+Gold=Blold
    Everyone agree, everyone happy. :)

  5. Obviously there are way better things we could be wasting our time on while we procrastinate on homework. Maybe you should go watch the news since there are llamas running free around cities instead of shaving peoples eyebrows off because they are color blind and they see white and gold when it is really blue and black.

  6. I see a popular trend that is starting to drive me crazy. I think by now we all know that for some reason, whether it be perception or something else, different people see different colors.

  7. The dress is obviously blue and black, but why is everyone freaking out about the color, when the face in the middle of the dress is was more important?! How do you guys not see it, it looks exactly like Brad Pitt! It was cool to see how quickly this became big, its one of the few times I knew about something before it was old news.

  8. I'm with Huaman in this but it isn't as follows:
    "Blue+White=Bluhite
    Black+Gold=Blold"
    It's actually:
    Blue+Gold=Glue
    Black+White=old people movies
That's all there is to it it's extremely simple.

  9. It's funny because I can see both colors, you might ask why? Well first I look at the picture that has more brightness and I see the dress gold and white, but when I see the side with less brightness I see dark and blue.

  10. This is becoming a bit annoying because everyone's arguing that they see blue and black or white and gold. We get it. You see black and blue and I see light blue and gold. Okay? There's no need to argue over this.

  11. This dress is getting on my nerves. Not only because it is all over the internet but because it makes me frustrated to not see dress black and blue! At first I thought it was only a joke until I asked a person that is pretty much a cavemen since he doesn't get the internet and he said it was blue and black.

  17. I think that this dress is black and blue. The amount of attention this normal dress has had in the past few days is incredible, yet unnecessary in my opinion. It is amazing that different people see it in different colors. However, the dress is truly blue and black. The manufacturer of the dress names the blueish color 'royal blue' and the online site that sells the dress shows an image that is clearly black and blue. Even people who see white and gold in the viral image see blue and black in the store's picture. Therefore, we can safely say that the dress is black and blue.

  18. I see blue and black. It depends on the person who is looking at the picture. I saw a video that explained why people can see the color of the dress differently. It said that the ones who see the dress white and gold, do not have a good perception and absorption of light and reflection and the ones who see it black and blue were normal. Well, I don't really care anymore c:

  19. I dont even want to talk about that becasue in my opnion everybody has different prespectives on things, therefire it is stupid to be fighting about something that will always be different to others.

  20. By now, I think we all know that the dress actually really blue and black, but depending on the person seeing the picture, the visible colors vary. Hopefully the craze over this picture dies off soon because, it really isn't that important. However, I do think it's a good lesson to realize that everybody sees things differently, whether they are colors or whatnot. Still, we shouldn't be obsessing over this dress anymore. Time to move on. ;)

  21. I used to see white and gold and people thought I was colorblind. It's quite interesting how different people see different colors on the wuipil. It has caused several arguments in the class.

  22. I don't get how people see it as white and gold. I want to also look at it as white and gold!! People tell me how! For me, the dress is black and blue. I don't get how this works because we usually look at the objects as the same color so how does everybody see it different from this dress? Cool.

  26. I think that this was a test for "dummies", why? Because at first people said if you saw it black and blue, there was something negative affecting you and if you saw white and gold you were alright, and many people believed this, until scientists spoke about this weird dress.

  27. I saw it blue and black, then I tried to take off my glasses, turn the light off, see from far away, see it from different angle, etc. All sort of things then I start seeing white some times, so I see it both. By the way,I'm sick of this dress now.

  28. This dress is tricky. Sometimes I see black and blue or gold and white. I don't know what is the original color, but most of the times I see black and blue.
