Do You Know Your Presidents?

As many of you probably know, President's Day was on Monday, meaning no school. The reason for no school was probably only a passing thought as most of you, myself included, only cared about having a three day weekend. Then, I watched this video in which a little girl knew all of the Presidents and information about them. It was interesting to realize that I am about 10 years older than her and know way less than she does. My knowledge is so limited it's almost embarrassing. This video made me want to learn a little bit more about the Presidents of my country.
Even if none of this applies to you, you can still watch this video and laugh at how cute the little girl is. How much do you know about your country's history and Presidents?

  1. She is so adorable and clever! My favorite part was when she put her elbow on her knee and said, "Some people even thought the berries were poisonous!" Haha! :) Who knows, maybe this girl will be President someday!

  2. What a darling girl! I saw this earlier and I couldn't stop smiling at her adorable personality. My favorite part of the segment is probably her recounting the cherries story!

  3. I loved the one tooth fun fact she gave about Washington. She knows every president by memory already that's amazing. This girl is really funny.

  7. I really don't know much about Guatemalan presidents. I think it's very shameful and to a certain point embarrassing. My family always bothers me because I don't really know a lot about Guatemalan history. The thing is that in this school, they don't teach anything about Guatemalan history. We study two years worth of US history, but we never learn about Guatemalan history. I don't mean to be rude with this. I just don't get the point in having to learn so much history from another country and not from the one we live in. I guess it's just the overall US curriculum we use in this school? Maybe? I don't know.

  9. This is so cute! She made me laugh so much and to be frank, I thought this would be a really boring video, but I was wrong. The way she walks, sits, talks, interlocks her hands, it's all kind of weird but it was very interesting seeing the way this girl acts. I wonder how her parents are and if the way they are actually encouraged this kind of behavior. Who knows!

  11. She is so smart and adorable! It got to a point where I felt stupid because she knew more than me. I also loved the way he answered it like a pro. I am so happy she gets to go the White House because that's like the best gift you can give her.

  12. I thought the little girl was so cute. I thought that it is really interesting that Washington only had one real tooth when he was President. How did he lose all of his teeth? He probably got into a lot of fights. He was a terrible fighter and so then he lost all teeth but one.

  13. The little girl is so cute. The way she ran to the stage was adorable. She's also very smart at a young age. She knows more about the U.S Presidents than me.

  14. She was pretty adorable. When I was 5, I didn't know ANY of the presidents. It's kinda weird that a girl being four years old starts to dedicate herself to something like that. I doubt if I tried to learn something like that right now I would ever be able to remember.

  22. Well Emily told me Mr. Diego thinks that our comments are boring, I'm really sorry you have to be reading this on a Sunday Mr. Either way she reminds me of Honey Boo Boo plus she acts like an adult. Like stahp child, you need to live your childhood more childhood-like. You're Welcome Mr.

  23. Oh. my. gosh. You'd think with all the knowledge that little girl has regarding the presidents themselves she'd have done some research about the authority of the presidential position. Eat all the candy she wants? What, does she think the US is some pseudo-commie authoritarian state? Who the heck does this little girl think she is! We really need to improve our education system, because this is absolutely inexcusable.

  24. The little girl is sooo cute!! She does know a lot for being five. I'm not from the U.S, but it did make me think that I don't know that much about my own country. Definitely something to work on.
