Snowboarding

Hey guys, I really don't know what to write about. Most of the people that know me know that  I really enjoy to post about sports. All kinds of sports in fact, but I do focus more on the more extreme side of things. I recall I have never posted about skiing in general so here goes nothing. I love to snowboard, and ski (I do prefer skiing). But half of my love for the sport is that you have to travel someplace that is completely alien to me. Here in Guatemala we live in the land of endless spring, so whenever the climates change dramatically like a desert or snow, it just makes a vacation that much more exiting. Putting the climate aside; there is one place in particular that I love, and will continue to love till the end of time: Whistle, BC Canada. This place is a dream come true, it really is. It has everything you would expect to find in huge city, but the only difference is that it is a small town about a kilometer wide and a kilometer long, and it's awesome. That is part of the love for the sport. And the mountain trails are really good as well, so that's a bonus. So here I leave video of this sick location and this awesome sport.

  1. Wow, it looks so cool, but also dangerous. I remember skiing last year in Korea. Actually trying to ski for the first time, I was skiing amateur course, but feeling that it was easy and boring, I gave a try for semi-pro course and I thought I almost died. I tripped over few times and rolled over too. Some one came to help me stand up, but I made him fall and roll with me together. I still feel so sorry for him, haha. It is so thrilled, but it hurts when you are not good at it. Now I learned to follow instruction, and don't be foolish.

  2. I remember the first time I went to Veil Colorado, snowboarding looked amazing unfortunately I was only use normal skies and therefore stuck to that. Snowboarding is a lot more extreme than normal skiing but after watching this video it makes me realize how I really must go back to Veil and try this side of snow sporting.

  4. This is really cool. It makes me miss skiing and just being in the snow. I am sad it doesn't snow in Guatemala. Skiing is my favorite winter sport.

  5. To do tricks like this one needs really strong legs because the impact from when you land is too strong. These people obviously have a lot of practice which is why they are so good at it. The first time I tried an actual stunt I was not ready for it and my legs were not steady enough so I lost control when I landed. It's fun but you have to be careful.
