I Got You by Duke Demont (Music Video)

I'm not going to lie, i've watched hundreds of music videos, of all sorts of genres, and personally, this beats every single one by far. The way that it is filmed and acted makes the music even sound better. If you've heard this song before, you'll love the video once you watch it. I say this because it correlates to how the video is filmed. The video shows a guy, who happens to be black, who curiously awaits for a package that brings a helmet that lets him become a way different guy, who happens to be white; this is not coincidental in my opinion.  Anyways, as he changes into a completely different dude, he travels to many luxurious places with his girlfriend and it unravels an environment that can be perceived as "heaven." The places he travels to are truly beautiful. Watch the video and comment what you thought about it! Until next time.

  1. I know what I want for Christmas haha! The song is really good, and the video is even better! All those beautiful places, and I would love to visit them some day...

  2. This honestly looks like a cool video. It must have taken a lot of time to film considering how many places he visits. I also don't think we was traveling with his girlfriend since he seemed to have a different girl everywhere he went. The most funny part is when they show the guy with the helmet on and he is, I'm guessing, kissing a girl.

  3. I do not think there is a better music video than this one. It is just so perfect and the best part is when he is kissing the girl. The song is really good too, I think people should do more music and videos like this one.

  4. That was incredibly depressing. That man makes me sad, as does the idea of augmented reality. I'm sure it's great while the helmets on, but as soon as you take it off you're in a sad, sad world. The whole time he was wearing the helmet I could only think of how lonely he must be, and how unfulfilling his life is.

  5. I have nothing to say about the music video, but I really liked the song. I really liked the beat even though I didn't really pay attention to the lyric. Whenever I listened to a song, I don't really pay attention to the lyrics. However, after reading the comments and the description, I have rewatched the video, but it made me feel bad.

  6. What a gift for him that he at least can use that machine(?) to do whatever he wants. I like both the song and the video. I wish I could try that thing too. So even though I'm actually laying on my bed, I'll be all relaxed and enjoying better view with that machine. Cool thing and cool music video.

  7. Ok, it wasn't the best video I've seen, but I thought it was a bit funny. Especially in the part when he's making out with his girlfriend and then they show him in his living room just sticking out his tongue, it was sad, but funny. The song was entertaining with the video, but I don't think I would have been able to hear it all just like that.

  8. Great video, great song there is a remix of it which is even better but I have to say I really liked the video. The setting of every little clip is amazing and some how it pertains to the rhythm of the song at that precise moment. Thanks for reminding me of this great song!

  9. The music video was cool, and pretty funny. I would love a headset like that! I could do so many things without leaving my room, or actually getting injured! The song was ok, though I don't see what it has to do with the music video. If I heard it on the radio I would probably change the station.

  10. This was pretty cool. However, I think it's kind of sad that he's only enjoying all these "places" without even getting off his chair. He looks lonely, to be honest. I hope technology never reaches the point where we're like this man, glued to this machine and never standing up to go outside and breathe actual fresh air. I guess the song was pretty good though.

  11. The video is really good! The way how the video goes so well with the music is amazing and every single detail in it was good. I would love to have one of those "helmets" "headsets".

  12. Wow, this video made me feel like going on vacation. And it made me hungry at one point. However, one thing I didn't understand was why he turned white after putting on the helmet. If this place he goes to is perceived as a type of "heaven", would that mean that it is better to be white than black? I know that sounded very harsh but it's pragmatic. Not the best video ever and it kind of made me dizzy, but still, it looked pretty fun.

  13. This video was really cool. The music was okay. The thing that he was using to travel to those amazing places remind me of Oculus, which basically do the same thing as the technological object in the video, but without the hand controls, and with video games graphics instead of the cool, real ones from this video. It would be really cool to have one and have the opportunity to travel to those places without going out from home.

  14. I think this video represents the future of games. What I am trying to say it that the video is showing an alternate reality. You could be in your house one second and then in Jamaica in the other second.

  17. I really liked this song and I like the idea of the video. It would be amazing to see all of those awesome places in a split second. The helmet reminded me of the Oculus Rift for some reason but with way better graphics and more pixels.

  18. I really like that song. The video seemed really cool, and the thing he was using seemed really fun. It kinda seemed like the Oculus Rift thing, except in the video it made everything look real and it made it believable.
