Trends That Never Get Old

By: Ricardo Quinones

In the 1960s, cars began to evolve into what is
know as a species of class. The brand Jaguar and Porsche, began sketching and creating cars that would become classics for the end of time. We see ourselves in 2014 with new cars that can almost fly, Lamborghini, Ferrari, Bentley, have created cars that, well, from my point of view do not have to much of a figure. These current cars in other words, look fake. They are sketching cars that look like toys, and there is no real beauty in things that look fake. If you look at it this way, when you see a certain someone with an operated face, does this look beautiful? Know it looks fake but in some way it seems nice. The same with cars right now, they are drifting into a trend with no real beauty. Now the difference with the cars in the 1960s, is that they have a real artistic design. These are classics that will never get old. What do you think of classics when it comes to comparing them with 2014 Coches?

  1. Old cars are always better in my opinion, especially when it has more class then any car we have today. Even if there isn't as many classic cars, classic cars is always better. And the originals are always the best in my opinion.

  3. I completely agree. Today is seems like all the cars are just boring, to be honest. I think that cars in the 60s, like you said, do have a real artistic design. Even though I'm not obsessed with cars, I still think they should look better than they do today. I'm not saying that every car today is boring, I just think that in general they could make them look more appealing to the eye.

  4. I think you are right Ricardo, now one days most of the cars do not have style, and they are made of plastic. The only cars that I think have some style are the ferraris, those are classic, fast, and cool cars to have. Like the Lamborghini Veneno, that car is like the worst car I have ever seen, it does not have style, and its made out of plastic. I think old cars like the picture shown are really elegant, and cool to have.

  5. Cars have become more conservative I think, even exotic cars. They all follow the same lines and it makes them more difficult to tell apart unless you look at the emblem. Yesterday I was watching some show on exotic cars, it was talking about the SSC Aero. Sure its a fast car, but nobody gives a crap about your carbon fiber build when the car itself looks like a fat person sat on a hotwheels. Cars stopped being art by 1980

  6. I think those cars are prettier than the cars nowadays. I feel like the cars now we see are out of style and they all look the same. I think the cars in that time were prettier and there should be more cars like that than every car looking the same.

  7. I would personally go for the bat mobile(classic not new version) myself but these cars are also appealing I guess. But the real car of my dreams that I am hoping to get in the not too distant future is a black 67 impala.

  8. Wow Ricardo, I never thought about cars this way. The guys in my family are really into cars, and I personally like nice cars, but not as much to notice that they are evolving into fake figures. The point you are making really made me think and I totally agree with you. I love classical cars and I hope one day I could own one.
