Talent Vs Training

Many people are concerned, due to the fact that they can't be good at something, because they do not have talent. Well talent is something that really few people have.   And sometimes they don't develop it. Talented people had been admire by humanity for many years.  Well, I come with an answer for those people that use training to create their own talent.   This video shows that even though you might not be as talented as Messi, or CR7 or Picasso, you can still develop your talent.  Watch the video now.

It's all about genes.  Genes tell us who we are.  For example, if your dad or mom was good at a sport or a activity, it is more likely that you would be good at that as well.  Therefore if any person of your family was a artist, or a soccer player, or even a businessman, you have an open world to whatever you want to be.

  1. I believe that people that are good at something does have some talent, but not everything is about being talented. I believe it depends on how much you try to make it happen, meaning making it possible. I think the most important thing to make is possible is effort. How much you really want that to happen and you really do everything to make it possible.

  2. I always thought that genes played part of our talents. Although, I think it varies because most of my family is great in art and I...well no comment. I think that genes might tell you what you are good at, but you are the one who changes and decides what to be good at and what to try to be good at.

  3. this is really interesting. Some people say that for someone to be good at something, they only need talent. It doesn't matter if they train or not, but they are clearly wrong. Maybe this video is right, talent plays an important role to be good at something, but training is also important.

  4. I remember the quote from Einstein saying “Genius is 1% talent and 99% percent hard work...” I think talent that you are born can't really affect your life. Once you like something and get into it, you are making your own talent.

  6. This video was very interesting, because it doesn't only apply to sport but also other things. I also agree with Ji Eun about that not everything is about talent but more on how much effort you put in. Although I got to say that I believe that everyone is born with some sort of talent.

  7. Human beings are not dictated by solely by their genes but they do count for a lot. The genes are the tools but you can build almost anything with any tools, its only a little harder.

  8. I always like the videos ASAP Science makes; they're always interesting and answer many of our unanswered everyday questions. With regards to this particular video, I think it is partially true. I do agree with the fact that a big part of who we are as individuals comes from genes, but I also strongly believe that as long as you're perseverant, and your goals are attainable, you can do anything you want in your life.

  9. You say that talent is something that few people have. I disagree. Everyone has a talent in something whether they know it or not. Maybe not athletically but in other things. This is an interesting thing to know though. How genetics can greatly decide who you are.

  13. This is very true in sports. There are some people that are born with athletic genes. This is an advantage if the person decides to become an athlete. If you are born with athletic genes it is obviously an advantage, however, if enough training his done, people without athletic genes could potentially become champions. Great post, I definitely recommend asapscience for any interesting facts.

  14. Some people are born with talent, but that doesn't mean they are experts right at the beginning. I just think that talent is the ability to learn faster and master it quicker than most, but everybody needs training.

  15. Weeeeeeeellll, I guess this video could perfectly explain why I'm not good at sports. Well, except horseback riding. Well, except horseback riding and squash. Well, I'm still working on squash, but I'm still good at horseback riding.

  16. I agree, some people are just born being good at something. there is always something that you are going to be good at, there is not one person on this planet that sucks at EVERYTHING it's just not possible.

  17. Talent shouldn't be the motivation of what you should do. What if you're extremely talented at something you hate doing? You would never try something new if you started out saying "I'm going to be terrible at this because I am not gifted." How sad would it be if you can't try anything new because you have already decided what the outcome will be?
