The Most Expensive Propaganda of History

Throughout history many propaganda have been used to motivate people.  But I am here to debate which commercials are the most expansive ones.  First place we have the "Pirates of the Caribbean: At world's end".  Made in 2007, 300$ millions.  The second one was made in 2010, for 260$ millions.  It was the movie "Tangled".  And in the third place we have, Spider-man 3.  Made in 2007, for 258 millions.  All of these advertisements were made to influence the people to come to watch the movie.   For a commercial to show on the Super bowl, you have to pay millions of dollars.  This video was made by "Budlight", it is 3:44 minutes long.  They made it for the Super bowl, and they sponsored a beer.  On the video, there is a guy called Ian and the rest are actors.  They asked him, are you up to whatever comes next?

  1. I'm doing my research paper on propaganda and I knew exactly what you're talking about. Propaganda is definitely produced a lot through advertisements and especially when you talk about ads during the Super Bowl! Lots of people watch the games during the Super Bowl, but so many more people as well always hear about the advertisements because it's just known that the ads will be hilarious or memorable or whatever. That is pretty cool considering it's all done by advertising!

    1. I remember I did my tenth grade research paper about propaganda as well! Although it was about propaganda during World War I, but as far as advertising goes, whether it is during the 1910s or 2010s, it seems that it has the same effect on people.

  3. I'd play pingpong with Arnold Schwarzenegger anywhere, anytime. And probably Don Cheadle, he seems so classy.

  4. this commercial is impressive. It's really cool! The people that made the script definitely knew what they were doing. They did such a good job with the propaganda to the point that it makes the audience wish they were Ian. I mean, he experienced an amazing night!

  5. This is one of the best commercials I've ever seen! It would be so awesome if I was going to play ping-pong with Arnold Schwarzenegger and then immediately attend a OneRepublic concert. That guy had the best night of his life!

  6. Cool commercial. I would be really cool to appear in a commercial, especially if I were to meet One Republic! Propaganda is really cool now, some actually make me want to buy their product. Not this one (I don't drink beer). I wonder how much this commercial cost.

  7. jajajajajjaa this is so funny, the best part of the video was when the actor, which I forgot his name, appeared with the llama, I liked that part because my favorite animal is the llama.

  8. It might have been real but I think it was all planned, meaning that Ian was acting happy. This was because the reactions of Ian looked fake for me

  10. One of my favorite sports... This is a great Super Bowl commercial, as most commercials shown in the Super Bowl. I also find it amazing that companies spend a ton of money in a thirty second advertisement. If I'm not wrong, companies have to pay 4 million dollars for thirty seconds air time in Super Bowl night. It is certainly a big bet companies make, but they can make sure that they will generate a lot of revenue.

  15. The superbowl and it commercials... The superbowl is definitely the show with the funniest commercials. This is a good commercial but I definitely prefer the Doritos commercials. Great post, however, watch your grammar.
