The Apple Event

On Oct. 22, Apple held a big event in San Francisco do discuss many new things. During the event, Apple released the IPad Air, IPad Mini Retina Display, OS X Mavericks and Mac Pro. The IPhone and IPad maker stated that they are going to make a 5th generation IPad and a 2nd generation IPad Mini. The Mavericks were released  for free for any Mac bought after 2007. He also said there were other free software products. There is also then new update IOS 7.0.3 and with the new Mavericks installed you can get ibooks and maps on your computer. You can also tag, your files with colors so its easier to find, you just type in the color you tagged it on in the search and you find all the files you have tagged with the color. You can tag as many files as you want.

  1. This software sounds really useful. I'm incredibly unorganized but, even with the software, I'd still probably be unorganized...

  2. Wow! That is going to be cool! I really think it is going to be easier to organize and find your files when you can tag and find by colors. But I think apple is making too many products and this is making me a little sad since I can't update my ipod anymore. I wish they concentrate a little more on the older products.

  3. I think I recently read an article about Apple introducing new products or something... and again this company is doing an event. Whenever I see new products from Apple, I don't see much changes even though they have always looked cool. Are they more concentrated on generating the same product every time and not really producing a really new and creative product? I really time iPhone, iPad, etc., but the way the company works... I don't really like it.

  4. I really don't know what to think about with regards to the iPad Air. I like the fact that they made it thinner, lighter, and generally better. However, it is the same internally, compared to the iPad mini with Retina Display. I don't know if the iPad Air is worth $100 more than the iPad mini just for a larger display and for a new design, when both devices are nearly identical with regards to their interior hardware.

  5. I think it's pretty cool that they are trying to help us be more organized. I also think it's awesome that Apple continues to try and improve their software and gadgets. :) Nice topic.
