DC Movies

DC(Detective Comics) is in the race with Marvel to see who can come out with the best superhero films. DC did very well with the Batman trilogy but they re-started their cinematic universe one years ago with the movie Superman: Man of Steel. So far DC has announced 10 superhero movies for the next six years. The movies are: Batman VS Superman: Dawn of Justice (March 25, 2016), Suicide Squad( Aug 5, 2016, the Suicide Squad is a group villains such as Deadshot and Harley Quinn working for the government), Justice League(Nov 17, 2017),  The Flash(March 23,2018), Aquaman (July 27, 2018), Shazam(April 5, 2019), Justice League 2(June 14, 2019), Cyborg(April 3, 2020) and Green Lantern (June 19, 2020). I am excited for this news, it was time for DC to start making move movies. Its cool that DC is bringing characters like Cyborg, Shazam and the Suicide Squad. Remember the TV shows that DC has like : Arrow, The Flash, Gotham and Constantine have nothing to do with the movies, is going to be different actors.

  1. It is impressive to see how new superhero's are suddenly appearing in our every day TV shows. I used to watch Arrow and I noticed how the show at first started very true to life facts and slowly leaned to a fiction plot. Arrow slowly went from only having normal human powers to becoming a type of spiderman.

  2. I always enjoy suprehero movies not because they show justice, but because I love thrills and actions that they provide. I enjoyed Iron Man and Spider Man, but I realized that I've never watched any Bat Man movie! Maybe I should search for some movies about other heroes and spend my weekend better even though I have tons of homework!

  4. I've always liked Marvel more than DC. It's nice to see DC is catching up ;) Also, I didn't like the movie Man of Steel so.. I think the superheroes from Marvel are more interesting and cooler, but I do like some heroes from DC. Like Batman and Flash but that's about it.

  5. Oh I remember the post about Marvels, but I really don't like heros and I've never watched them. I didn't know there was that much comic companies. By the way, what is the difference between Marvels and DC?

  8. I can't wait for these movies to come out! I always liked the DC super heros a little more then Marvel. I remember when I was little I used to watch a Justice League TV show. It was pretty great. And I also like the spin of series of like their kids or when they were younger, and I think there was one of like dog versions of them. Im also glad they are making a movie for Flash and Aquaman. People think they are like the lamest out of them because the Flash is just super fast and the Aquaman can talk to sea creatures. I think they are cool though and I can't wait to see their movies.

  9. It must not be easy to have this many projects in such a relatively short period of time. I admire how these cinema titans plan ahead and with a remarkable degree of precision; they tell you the exact date the film will come out. Although there are times when they have to release the movie later, the final outcome is always good. Also, the story line may not be the best at times, but the hard work and dedication that goes into the production of any movie is truly worthy of admiration. I personally have no preference between DC and Marvel, and enjoy the movies from both equally.

  10. I personally don't like DC Comics. I think that Stan Lee's Marvel is so much better. I don't know why. I think that it is because DC Comics hasn't filmed that many movies in a long time, but Marvel has. Since Marvel movies are the most recent one, I guess that that is why there is a preference between DC Comics and Marvel Universe. I will still watch the DC Comics movies because I will give them an opportunity. You can't judge a movie without watching it before!
