What would happen to Harry and Marv if Home Alone was real?

Ok, I found this video in a Korean site with Korean subtitle, and I thought I was pretty interesting so I decide to share with Equity American Students. It took a while to found video without subtitle. Anyway, I’ve never watched home alone, but I always heard that it is good movie to watch it in Christmas and TV channel’s always put them during Christmas season. Anyway, with this video I get the general plot of Home Alone, and I noticed that the ones who act out Marv and Harry is such a great actor. They keep the movie interesting. In the video you can see how many times that they could  have die in the real life. Lastly, movie is just movie. Don’t try this at home ;) I hope you guys enjoyed it!

  1. This is so true, that is the only thing that bothers me when I watch this movie, that nothing ever happens to them and theyre perfectly fine in the end. This was iinteresting to watch.

  2. Hahah I remember watching this movie and I thought if this was real, they would already have been dead. I felt really bad for the characters in the movie and this can really happen only in the movie because I don't think they would have survived after the first thing that the main character have done to them.

  4. This is an amazing video. My family would always laugh at Kevin's pluckiness and the apparent immortality of Harry and Marv. I never imagined that they would die a total of 23 times, though. I thought that on a few of them, the doctor might've exaggerated, but what do I know? This is also the first time I cringe while watching them get hit. Before I didn't care because I knew they took little damage. This changes everything.

  5. Hahaha I remember I used to always watch this with my family, and we all like these movies so much. I never really noticed the seriousness of their injuries until now after watching this video! I guess it's because whenever I watched it I was young so I didn't really pay attention to this stuff. This also reminds me of a physics project we were assigned where we had to show how cartoons and movies defy the laws of physics. Pretty interesting, Cindy!

  7. High five Cindy! Me and my family watch those movies every Christmas, too. I always wondered how come they never died when I was younger... I didn't think that all those injuries were super serious though.

  12. They are like cats except that they don't have 7 lifes they have like 20 lives,This is too funny though. Home alone is the best movie and the little boy could easily be a criminal or a serial killer.

  13. Home Alone is funny every time you watch it, no matter how many times you have seen it before! It is funny that a group of 'professionals,' as they called themselves, actually took the time to analyze what would have happened if the action in the movies happened in real life. I also liked the voice of the woman narrating the injuries since it sounded like a futuristic computer acting like a doctor. Going off on a tangent, who knows... Doctors may be like that maybe 50 or 100 years from now!

  14. I've actually never seen the Home Alone movies, but watching this video just makes me ache thinking about all those injuries. I'm surprised that haven't died in the movies yet...

  15. Hmm... like Lindsey said, I've never seen the Home Alone movies before. But I too am surprised at how none of the characters have died seeing as they should have judging from all those fractures and injuries they should have gotten. I guess this can lead to two conclusions: that we ought to be grateful for stunt doubles, and that movies can often portray inaccurate situations that would (normally, in real life) lead to death but somehow miraculously do not in movies.

  16. WOW apparently you need a lot of actors to complete the movies. I can't believe they could have died so many times in two movies!!! It was epic!!!!

  17. It's so interesting knowing about all the injuries they could've gotten. It just comes to show that sometimes movies can stretch the truth.
