People Actually Watch This(I know Right) |
I'm going to try to keep this as succinct as possible. As far as I know there is talk about making a new Justice League franchise similar to that of the Avengers; if it does happen it will be based in the backdrop of the Man of Steel movie. For some bizarre reason the franchise hinges on a 'stand alone' Wonder Woman movie, probably a financial story there. The rumors that she will be played by Megan Fox are totally bogus, if this does happen she will be played by Gal Gadot(Beautiful girl in Fast & Furious 5)(Link). Although many people, not me, consider the 2004 Van Helsing a failure because it was meant to launch a 'horror franchise' it seems Tom Cruise is going to take a crack at it(Link). Regardless of your feelings for the 2004 movie I think we can all agree the 1.7m actor is going to destroy the franchise; I think the only worse news I have heard is Ben Affleck playing the new Batman in the new Batman vs. Superman movie(Link). Also worth mentioning, there is no proof that Justin Timberlake is the new Riddler. Whatever you read about these movies remember to read many separate articles because it is common to hear differing facts. I leave you with new 'interesting' 2014 movies you might not have heard of, Google them yourself!
-Need For Speed, Divergent(ugh), Cesar Chavez, Heaven is For Real, Transcendence, Godzilla, Hot to train Your Dragon 2, Hercules: Thracian Wars, Sin City 2, Dumb and Dumber 2, Night at the Museum 3, Horrible Bosses 2 and Hot Tub Time Machine 2-

Interesting! I feel like there are constantly movies being made about the Avengers or Super-heroes or Superman or Batman, etc.
ReplyDeleteBut you forgot some good movies Gio! You didn't mention The Hunger Games: Mocking Jay Part 1, The Amazing Spiderman 2,The Fault in Our Stars, and The Giver.
I think it'll be a good year for these upcoming movies. I'm really excited for a lot of them! :)
I did not mention those because I said specifically "new 'interesting' 2014 movies you might not have heard of, Google them yourself! "
ReplyDeleteAh, well even still, I'd heard of the majority of those you mentioned. I was merely adding on to some you hadn't mentioned, whether or not people have heard of them or not. :)
DeleteI agree with Lacey. She was just adding on some extra movies that she considered to be interesting that people haven't heard about yet. For example, I didn't know The Giver was coming out this year. I hope that this year will be a good year for movies and that there will be something coming out that everyone will like. :)
DeleteIt's interesting how Super hero movies are always constantly made, like Lacey said. I'm not a big fan of those movies, but I think many people actually look forward to those movies. Usually, public desires for something new and original, but I don't see how those movies have very similar plot line to one another, yet be very popular.
ReplyDeleteWell, I guess your definition of "interesting" and mine are very different. The only movie I think might be interesting is Heaven is For Real and the only one I'm looking forward to is How To Train Your Dragon 2. But I like The Giver in Lacey's list, because I can't imagine how the book will be turned into a movie. Fingers crossed on that one!
ReplyDeleteIf Wonder Woman IS played by Megan Fox, you have no idea how disappointed I would be of the film industry. Hollywood has lowered their quality in so many levels lately, that I just don't feel like going to the movies anymore. Sure, these type of movies are entertaining and have become unbelievably popular. But, do you really think they have anything special cinematographically? These movies are all about how much money the director can spend on stupid special effects and hot actresses, which do not help AT ALL to make the plot any better.
ReplyDeleteSounds pretty cool. Hopefully the fault in Our Stars will be good. out of your list I'm looking forward to Divergent. Hopefully it will be as good as the book was!
ReplyDeleteI can't wait till Batman vs. Superman comes out. On I am Legend there was a giant poster of a pic of Batman vs. Superman.
