How do the thighs and the calves in our legs work? In what order do they move. This game shows you that if you don’t know how to control them you fall and flatten your nose. I know you guys won’t be able to pass at least 10 meters from the starting line because this game you need patience and also a lot of brainwork. We can control our legs but many of use don’t know how to control all the part in it simultaneously. This game shows you how unknowledgeable and ignorant you are about the human legs. The character in this game moves like a weird puppet with deformed legs when he starts walking. It’s truly impossible to make the character in the game move like a decent human. If you know how thighs, calves and your entire leg move in your body, you might be in this game. This game is more about your knowledge about the body instead your experience in games.
Well, my guess is that one one muscle contracts, the other one pulls. So when one runs or walks, we have either the thigh contracting while the calves pull. Likewise, when we have the calves contracting, we have the thighs pulling.
ReplyDeletehaha this game is hilarious! I love the way the runner goes crazy when you click the wrong button. I am not sure if this is a very realistic game compared to our real bodies or this is just made to piss you off hahah
ReplyDeleteHigh score:1.9 meters.
ReplyDeleteOh yeah. You wish you could be like me.
Man I sucked at this game, there was a point where I thought I would get far but no... I sucked! I'm going to try this at home and get better cause at school it is a waste of time. I liked it thanks David for making the Blog funnier.
ReplyDeleteit's incredible how this people can have such an amazing control of their mind and body. They probably work and train a lot to be able to do this. Apart form them, I don't think there's anyone else who can do this.
ReplyDeleteIt is actually hard for me to control this game... I just fall down...
ReplyDeleteIt is amazing how our bodies can move like this without paying a lot of attention..Now, I know that we are actually paying attention even though we are walking half asleep... Thanks to our brains for having able to move really well.
The game starts to play the theme song to Chariots of Fire when you are doing it right.
ReplyDeleteMarco, this game is actually more sophisticated than it may seem.
ReplyDeleteWhen we are babies, we have to do the same routine learning of how our leg muscles work with each other. We have to do it over and over again until our brains understand how to work our muscles and in what order. That's why babies fall down all the time.
You are good at running because you have been doing it every day for sixteen years. If you played this video game every day for sixteen years you'd be really good at it too.
I finally got to 20 meters although he was doing the split most of the way. It is a great way to learn why coordination is so complex with our thigh and calf muscles.
ReplyDeleteIt's times like these when you really start to appreciate the kind of work our brain does for us, but that is bothering me somewhat. Our brain moves our legs muscles all the time. To us, walking is one of the first thing we learn how to do. There is even an olympic event for walking, so if our brain already knows how to walk so well, why is this game so hard?
ReplyDeleteThis changes the way I think of games. Even though this is provably the dumbest game on the planet, I couldn't help but have the most amazing time watching myself face plant . . . repeatedly. This game makes you think games should be more realistic. Real walking takes speed and muscle coordination, but trying to channel what are brains already do to our legs through our fingers is extremely hard.
ReplyDeletep.s. I face planted rather epicly on 3.0 meter line. EAT SOME EDIE!!!!!!!
Hmmm, this game is hard!
ReplyDeleteAfter playing this game, i think I understand better why babies cant walk right after they are born. Because their muscles need to train to move and react.
I hardly managed 2.5 meters.
As soon as I posted my last comment I tried the game one last time and I did something incredible. I ran about 6 meters backwards.

ReplyDeleteI realized that if you hold Q for one second the quickly hold W for about 5 seconds, he does a chilena, funny how this game makes walking super hard, but doing a half-backflip a lot easier. My Record: 31.1 meters, not negative six.
ReplyDeletei think this game is funny. because the way he is running, it is really weird but funny. But if this was real, the person might get hurt. but who cares? this is just a game!!!
ReplyDeleteThe first time I saw David play the game i thought it was just him not knowing how to use the game's controller, but now I see that its more complicated than that! Farthest I've got was 12.3 meters
ReplyDelete6 meters as'fd;sfhasf., this is weird ;sdhflashldkHjaskfhakf
ReplyDeleteThis game is so addictive although I am really bad at doing it, and I didn't know walking was a hard exercise.
ReplyDeleteThis game is really hard and at the same time weird, becuase its really hard to know what part of the legs you have to move so your avatar moves forward. It's also cool when you see the avatr do a back flip or fall o his head, imagine if that happened to us when we were walking or running?
ReplyDeletethis game is really funny but I can't get to the end Josh found out how to run with stretched legs hahaha
ReplyDelete"This game makes you think games should be more realistic. Real walking takes speed and muscle coordination, but trying to channel what are brains already do to our legs through our fingers is extremely hard."
ReplyDeleteYeah Josh! One fascinating aspect of this is that it also implies that our brains our fairly plastic (meaning flexible). If we practice just about anything long enough, we can learn how to do it with precision and coordination. This is really promising for people who lose limbs or the ability to use the limbs that they have. With patience, they can learn to use robot legs and arms just as well as their regular arms.
Imagine a super suit that you control through a video game (or brain interface) like this and that allows you to run at crazy speeds or lift crazy amounts of weight!
6.9 meters!!!
ReplyDeleteThis game is pretty coool and although so far I havent gone further than 1 meter I am looking forward to creatingg a new record! This is the slow motion game!
ReplyDeleteThis game is really funny but I sucked at this game!! my record is -0.5. I only try 2 times.
ReplyDeleteEverytime I see the runner i laugh.
This is really cool. People would really have a really hard time running like this, worse of all walking, people walk a lot. But if all of us walked like this? this would be not cool. David said that i wouldn't pass 10 meters, but i did 12.7 meters that a HA! david :D
ReplyDeletei actually made -2.5 the first time i tried this
ReplyDeleteThis games is harder than it looks!! When I played the player went negative instead of positive... it must be hard to get to 100 meters, but it would be nice to try to do it and mostly if you are able to do it.
ReplyDeleteI totally agree with MR.AB. Even when we were babies, we fell several time just to stand up. We tried thousand of time in order for us to walk. Like what Mr.AB said, if we play that game several times, we can make that man run.
ReplyDeleteanybody reached 100meters? I did it.
ReplyDeleteI'm national hero!!!
At least it's not a swimming game; he probably would have drowned.
ReplyDeleteOkay i cant even move the man i have been trying like crazy but i simply can't .
ReplyDeletereally hard this game, is almost impossible to walk but the thing is the person in the game don't know how walk really.
ReplyDeleteThis game makes me feel tired only trying to play it!
ReplyDeleteI got to 10.4 I made it finally after two days of class I finally made more than 10 meters
