I found this information pretty crazy. I love to read so it seems pretty weird to be reading information about many people are hardly reading at all.
How much do you read? Do you find this information unbelievable, or do you find it expected?
I'm one of the people that do not read much... (it's embarrassing.. but true..) I think it is amazing how people can publish books electronically, but I think it is sad that paper books are disappearing.. maybe when we become older, we might find ourselves saying "that is what your grandma read for entertainment." ... this is just sad...
ReplyDeleteHmm, it's pretty sad to see that so little people are reading now a days, just because they can watch the movie. Reading has a lot of positive benefits, while movies don't enhance you to do anything good in life.
ReplyDeleteI due find this to be expected because of technology people don't want to read any more. In the past people read more than now, but I believe is because of tv. The tv has consumed the lives of the people, not only in reading but also in exercising. We have to be careful with tv because we might miss out on life because were stuck watching the latest tv show.
ReplyDeleteI am the type of person that likes to read. I had not expected for so little people to actually read books when it is not mandatory. That is sad and personally I prefer paper books to electronic books. Now people pass much more time in the internet or busy with something related to technology, that is sad.
ReplyDeleteWOW, it is pretty amazing how books aren't read anymore. It is pretty easy to believe this because many people prefer to be on Facebook or on other social networks. Technology is also advancing and because of that books aren't used but we use things such as the IPAD and read the books in virtual data
ReplyDeletePersonally, I love reading. And I am aware of the fact that most people don't share this feeling with me. It is sad, but true. I strongly believe that if more people would read, we would be in a better place right now.
ReplyDeleteThe data you are sharing with us is very shocking. I love to read and as Carlota, I prefer to have a book physically in my hands than reading a book digitally. What I love about reading is that you get to imagine every single thing about the story. If it's a really good book, you find yourself imagining, feeling and experiencing every single thing about it.

ReplyDeleteIt is really interesting how the interest for reading is slowly decreasing. Personally, I like to read but I don't read that much. However, I don't find this info unbelievable, though, since nowadays, you rarely see anyone reading a physical book. But I wonder if these stats are counting e-book in them....
ReplyDeleteI like to read, but I am too lazy to read books. But I still like books! Sometimes the book that you chose it not your type so I get bored. So it is important to choose book you like .
